INDIE POP SONGWRITER MICHELLE LYNNE RELEASES “In the In-Between” - OUT OCT 6
Netherlands-based Canadian pianist and singer Michelle Lynne is combining her unique sound in original songs now being released on her debut album.
Active as a classical pianist for many years, Michelle has been touring and performing for hundreds of audience members on European and Canadian stages. Now, she reveals a new side to her artistry with original, lyrical songs, built on her classical training and infused with a pop twist.
Michelle's musical style is a combination of her classical music training as well as having grown up singing country and worship songs. Combining these two artistic sides into a new sound, she brings all the elements of her musical capacity in order to release something outside of the expected. Her songs are fused with classical melodies, warm strings, and synthesizers, and led by her pure and clear voice. Her dynamic piano playing creates an atmosphere that draws in the audience to really listen.
This album reflects the message that comes through her music no matter which style or genre: the healing power of music, the desire to bring people into connection with something more than what we can see and to ultimately find inner rest and peace.
On her new single, “In the In-Between”, Michelle Lynne returns with another poetic song about the place in-between moving from a difficult season of life into a new hopeful one, but without knowing yet where the road leads. Featuring Michelle’s crystal vocals, classical melodies, and emotional piano playing, the song also features renowned Nashville-based cellist Cremaine Booker (@thatcelloguy).
This song is for when you still don’t know where you’re going, and you don’t have any answers yet, but you’re OK and looking forward with hope. “Sometimes when we’re in the middle of grief, we’ve been told to pretend like everything’s great. “Put a smile on, you’re gonna be fine. You’re not bleeding, you’re fine.”… and this song came out of a place where I realized that I didn’t have the answers to many questions, and I was left in the place between”, explained Michelle.
Michelle tours across Europe, sharing the message of hope and healing through music to thousands of audience members. She consistently receives messages from audience members describing the intense emotional aspect of her concerts and how deeply touched they were by her artistry and music. Her hope is to continue to share a concert space for those to come and process difficult situations, knowing that they are deeply loved.
In the In-Between is out Oct 6, 2023.
